With this option, you conduct your own testing in a product category after receiving our certificate of qualification.

To qualify for category certification, you need:

• A thorough knowledge of the applicable product standards
• A demonstrated ability to design, manufacture and test products that consistently comply with the standards
• Access to suitable test facilities

You arrange the tests, at your own facility or have them conducted at CSA International. The results are then documented, and you determine whether the product meets the necessary requirements. This option is the quickest of the certification options. Category Certification gives you maximum flexibility and control over how and when your product enters the market.
