Our Drinking Water Products Evaluation Program makes testing and certifying your products that come into contact with drinking (potable) water more convenient-because the product evaluation is now conducted under one roof.
We test and certify plumbing, mechanical and electrical products handling potable water to the following standards:
- ANSI/NSF Standard 60 which deals with water treatment chemicals;
- ANSI/NSF Standard 61 which deals with the evaluation and analysis of finished products and components that are expected to come into contact with drinking water;
- ANSI/NSF 42 & 53 standards which deal with the materials and performance of water treatment devices such as water filter units; and
- CSA Standard B125 which contain requirements on performance and safety related criteria (including toxicity) for plumbing supply fittings, plumbing waste fittings and master thermostatic mixing valves.
